The much-awaited teaser of superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is finally out on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. From Akshay trying to create havoc in his crow avatar to Rajinikanth attempting to save the people, the teaser is undoubtedly visually appealing and is laden with some high-octane stunts.
The teaser begins with mobile phones being snatched away and mysteriously disappearing. It appears that Chitti, the robot version of Rajinikanth, can only save them from the evil caused by Akshay's character. How they battle it out forms the crux of the teaser. Meanwhile, it has some mind-blowing VFX work and Akshay totally aces his look of a menacing villain. From AR Rahman's background score to Rajini's swag, the teaser is certainly a treat for the fans.

Akshay and Rajinikanth are sharing screen space for the first time in S Shankar's film. From the cast to the budget and constant delays, the film has been in the limelight ever since its announcement. The film features Rajinikanth reprising his popular character of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti whereas Akshay plays the role of the antagonist named Dr. Richard. 2.0 is the sequel to Rajinikanth starrer Enthiran (Robot) that released in 2010 and also stars Amy Jackson as the leading lady.

Touted as India's costliest film, 2.0 is made on a budget of around Rs 543 crores (around 75 million dollars). The film will the hit the silver screens on November 29.
