The makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 are all set to release the much-awaited first teaser of the film. It will be released on September 13. The film’s teaser will be released in 3D and 2D formats. Akshay’s negative avatar in the film has already earned a lot of eyeballs and Rajinikanth’s presence is an added bonus. The film is made on a mega budget of around Rs 543 crores (around 75 million dollars) and had over 3000 technicians from all across the world working on it to make each and every frame of the film spectacular.
Akshay, who is making his Tamil film debut with 2.0 took to Instagram to share a poster of the film. The actor wrote “2.0 is an effort unlimited of more than 3,000 technicians around the world. #2Point0Teaser in 3 days! @2point0movie @lyca_productions #2Point0.” The poster reads, “The world is not only for humans.” A poster that he shared also read, "India's first 75 million VFX wonder."

Karan Johar will be presenting 2.0 and the filmmaker is ecstatic about the film. He recently took to Twitter to announce about his collaboration in the film. 2.0 is the sequel to Rajinikanth starrer Enthiran that released in 2010. It had been in the pipeline for long and has been rescheduled several times. The film also stars Amy Jackson as the leading lady.
