After two hit songs, Gold Tamba and Dekhte Dekhte Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are back again with an upbeat song Hard Hard from their upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Crooned by Mika Singh and Prakriti Kakar, the number is a fun track which will make you tap your feet to every beat. Unlike other regular disco numbers, Hard Hard has a new energy and vibe to it.
In the video, Shraddha is seen grooving in a boho costume with one side of her hair straight and one curly. Shahid, on the other hand, carries the look of a typical desi yet stylish boy. The song also features Divyendu Sharma who adds on the fun element and humour to this party number. Set in a club, the foot tapping tune of the song will leave you wanting for more. Shahid and Shraddha are grooving in abandon, with no care in the world.
Shraddha took to her Instagram this morning a poster of the song with the caption, "You won't be able to stop dancing after #HardHard."
Batti Gul Meter Chalu is based on the issue of power shortage in India and a common man's fight against it. The trailer was released two weeks back and it has caught the audience’s attention as it's based on a social cause. Shahid and Shraddha both look superb with their funny and carefree attitude in the film but when life takes a serious turn they both find themselves coming-to-terms with harsh reality. Yami Gautam plays an important role of a lawyer in this drama-comedy.
BGMC is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is all set to release on September 21.
