Shraddha is training rigorously for Saina Nehwal biopic; film to roll out in September

Shraddha Kapoor is all geared up for the release of her horror-comedy film Stree, which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Bannerjee in the lead. The film is slated to hit the theatres on August 31. Apart from that, the actress also has Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Prabhas' Saaho in her kitty. But it the badminton biopic on Saina Nehwal starring her, that has been grabbing a lot of attention lately.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, Shraddha talked about the rigorous preparation and practice that she is undergoing for Amole Gupte’s upcoming biopic, slated to go on floors in September. "It’s a difficult sport, very challenging, but I’m enjoying myself. I’ve already taken 38-40 classes, but there’s still a long way to go which is why even though we start filming next month, we will shoot the badminton scenes only early next year,” informed the actress.

Meanwhile, as per a report in another leading daily, the actress has also changed her routine completely and when she isn't promoting Stree and Batti Gul Meter Chalu or shooting for Saaho, she starts her day at 5 am. "The plan charted out is such that she trains for badminton on alternate days for one-and-a-half hours, works out in the gym on the other days for the same duration followed by a session of physiotherapy so that her muscles don’t jam and there is no injury," the daily quoted a source.

Apparently, not just physical training but Shraddha will be incorporating changes in her diet as well and live an athlete’s life for a certain period.

Considering Saina is India’s best shuttler who has brought laurels to the country, the actress is leaving no stone unturned to prep for her role in the best possible way. Well, we are certainly impressed with Shraddha's sincerity and commitment towards the role.
