Abhishek Bachchan who was recently in Amritsar to promote his film Manmarziyaan paid a quick visit to the Golden Temple while in the city. The star traveled with producer Aanand L Rai and the film’s writer Kanika Dhillon, after celebrating Raksha Bandhan in Mumbai.
The actor promoted the film in Nagpur and flew back to Mumbai to celebrate the festival with sister Shweta Bachchan. Later yesterday, he took a quick tour to Amritsar, where he started the promotions on an auspicious note by visiting the famous golden temple.
Not only did the actor visit the temple for darshan but also indulged in some kar seva. He was seen washing the utensils used in the langar.
The team later visited city's popular attractions, Ahuja Lassi Shop and Kesar Da Dhaba, given that both Abhishek and Aanand are foodies and wanted to try the local cuisine of Amritsar.
