After treating the audience with spooky posters in four different languages, the makers of Tumbbad have finally unveiled the teaser in three different languages. The teaser of the upcoming film is an interesting mixture of mythology and horror leaving everyone with a spine-chilling experience.
Aanand L Rai took to twitter sharing the teaser captioning, "तुम्बाड के लिए आप तैयार हों या नहीं! तुम्बाड आपके लिए तैयार है (Whether you are ready for Tumbbad or not! Tumbbad is ready for you)..." Take a look:

The teaser begins with a narrator's voice, who recollects the story of the genesis of the universe and the birth of 16 crore gods and goddesses. It is further revealed that Hastar, Devi's first-born was her favourite child, napped on her lap for ages before he was finally woken up and made into a deity. Thunder, lightening and deserted spaces give glimpses of fantasy, action, frights, and scares and depict a tale of greed beyond fear. The concluding line of the teaser which says, "डरा नहीं रहा हूँ, तुम्बाड के लिए तैयार कर रहा हूँ" (Not scaring you but getting you ready for Tumbbad), has intrigued the masses to witness the film on the big screen.

Tumbbad, which is also the name of a place in Maharashtra, is a thrilling rollercoaster ride that questions the roots of human greed while providing entertainment of the purest kind.
Touted to be a visually stunning film, Tumbbad has been receiving accolades even before the release of the film. The much ambitious project has been a six year journey for lead actor Sohum Shah while Aanand L Rai defines the film as genre-defining.
Tumbbad is an Eros International and Aanand L Rai's presentation and a Little Town Films production in association with Colour a Yellow Productions. Co-produced by Filmi Väst and Filmgate Films. Helmed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad is set to release on October 12, 2018 in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
