Stree: Milegi Milegi song showcases the concept of Rajkummar Rao's-Shraddha Kapoor’s film

The first song of Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming horror-comedy Stree titled Milegi Milegi is out and the peppy number is a tale in the song itself. Milegi Milegi is sung by Mika Singh and composed by Sachin-Jigar. Milegi Milegi is written by Vayu. The song is a promotional one and features all the lead star cast of the film including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Bannerjee and Aparshakti Khurrana. Stree is based on an Indian urban legend.

Milegi Milegi’s video shows Pankaj Tripathi as a nobleman who is enjoying a dance in his court. Rajkummar and Shraddha dance to the tune of the song with Aparshakti Khurrana as the musician. Mika has done a superb job with the song and both Rajkummar and Shraddha are grooving to it with some hilariously caricaturish expressions. However, the song takes a dramatic turn when we get to see the lead star cast being hauled and the next scene shows them dressed in sarees, while Shraddha takes the place of Pankaj on the throne.

Talking about the song director Amar Kaushik said in a statement, “The idea of Milegi is to give the audience a peek into what Stree is all about. Even though it is a promotional song, it encapsulates the essence of the movie and showcases the concept of the film.” He further said, “We really enjoyed shooting for the song as it's a peppy number filled with a lot of 'masti' (fun) that got the entire cast grooving to the upbeat tempo. We are sure that the audiences will enjoy watching the song as well as break into a dance whenever the song plays."
