Aamir Khan roped in to do a cameo in Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal?

Aamir Khan and Indra Kumar go a long way back. Together the two have delivered many hit films like Dil, Ishq, and Mann. Interestingly, Indra is the only filmmaker to have directed Aamir in three films. Now, reports are coming in that the two are going to reunite once again for a fourth film, albeit only for a cameo in this instance. According to a leading daily the Dangal actor will be making a special cameo in the comic caper Total Dhamaal that stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaffrey, Niharica Raizada and Esha Gupta.

If everything goes according to plan then Indra and Aamir will reunite for the shoot after 19 years. They last collaborated for Mann which was released in 1999 and featured Manisha Koirala in the lead. Reportedly, Aamir will be seen in Anil and Madhuri’s track. Interestingly, Aamir had given the mahurat clap for this comedy film.

Talking about the hit jodi of Anil-Madhuri reuniting for this film, Indra had previously said, “They’re an iconic pair and they still create an electric atmosphere on screen together.”

Speaking about the film which is touted to be an adventure comedy with thrilling stunt sequences, Indra had said earlier, “We’ve used action-based situations to create humour. We also have four more songs to shoot, which we’ll do in the days to come.”

Total Dhamaal is the sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of the Dhamaal film series. The film is a reunion of sorts as Anil and Madhuri are also reuniting on screen after seventeen years. Sanjay Dutt is also slated for a cameo in the film; he starred in the first Dhamaal film. The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Fox Star Studios. Pen India Limited and Mangal Murti Films are on-board as co-producers. The film is slated for a December 7, 2018, release.
