Alia Bhatt has been dominating the headlines lately for her alleged love affair with Ranbir Kapoor. The actor reportedly asked Alia out on New Year’s Eve last year when they had gone to Bulgaria with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherji for a recce. Since then, their romance has been creating a lot of buzz in the tinsel town.
Moreover, Alia has been spending quality time with Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor and family while Ranbir was recently seen bonding with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt at Alia's house. While it seems the families have given their nod to the relationship, there's one person who is perhaps not happy with the brewing romance. Well, we are talking about Alia's ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra.

As per a leading daily, Sidharth Malhotra has not taken the news too well and has been maintaining safe distance from Alia ever since she started dating Ranbir. Apparently, the former couple recently crossed paths at a party but Sid avoided Alia's greeting. The report further suggested that Alia had also sent him messages on his birthday apart from inviting him to the screening of her last film Raazi, but she could gather no response from him at all.
For the unversed, Sidharth and Alia were in a relationship ever since they made their debut together in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year in 2012. The two parted ways in 2017? Well, we just hope the two mend their friendship and arrive on cordial terms soon.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir and Alia, are back on the sets of Brahmastra in Bulgaria. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. On the other hand, Alia and Sid will come together for a special appearance in Student Of The Year 2.
