Dhadak first weekend Box Office collection: The Janhvi-Ishaan starrer is on a roll

Dharma Productions' latest offering, Dhadak, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter registered an impressive first weekend collection. The Shashank Khaitan's directorial garnered Rs 13. 92 crore on Sunday, July 22 taking its opening weekend total to Rs 33. 67 crore.

The third-day collection of the film showed a significant jump from its previous days collections. The opening day collection of Dhadak stands at Rs 8. 71 crore whereas the Saturday saw it raking in an amount of Rs 11. 04 crore.

The film has largely received positive reviews from the critics and the audience too, has appreciated it, especially the eclectic chemistry between Ishaan and Janhvi. In fact, Dhadak is now the top Bollywood film featuring debutants with the highest opening day Box Office numbers.

Thanking the audience for their love and support, its director posted a humble message on social media. He wrote:

Dhadak is definitely intriguing audience to the theatres and it will be interesting to see how well does it play from Monday onward at the Box Office!
