After Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor gets a wax statue at Madame Tussauds

Shahid Kapoor is the latest one from Bollywood to be getting his wax statue installed at Madame Tussauds. The actor took to social media to announce the same and posted:

The news comes a few hours after Deepika Padukone announced her statue at Madame Tussauds through a Facebook Live video. In fact, actor Diljit Dosanjh and Anushka Sharma too, gave measurements for their wax statues recently. Anushka's statue is going to be the first ever talking statue at Madame Tussauds.

Shahid, on the work front, is finishing up the post production of his upcoming, titled Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film, directed Shree Narayan Singh, also features Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. After some financial issues and rejig in the release date, it's finally slated to hit the theatres on September 21.

The actor is also gearing up to experience fatherhood for the second time. His wife, Mira Rajput, is pregnant with their second child. A few lovely photos from her baby shower, happened recently, surfaced online. In fact, Shahid too, posted a picture from the special day:

The fans of the actor are surely cherishing the 'wax statue' news. This is for the first time that Shahid has been given such an honour.
