Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se: Shatrughan Sinha to have an extended cameo in Dharmendra's film

As we reported earlier, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was roped in for a cameo appearance in a song for Yamla Pagla Deewana-Phir Se which has his daughter Sonakshi Sinha grooving to it. However, now we hear that the actor’s screen time in the film has been extended. As reported by a leading daily, the actor-politician will be playing the role of a judge in the film!

Yamla Pagla Deewana-Phir Se is the third film in the Yamla Pagla Deewana film franchise that stars veteran actor Dharmendra along with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as leads. This is the first time Shatrughan will be sharing screen space with Sonakshi and will be reuniting with former co-star Dharmendra.

Shatrughan and Dharmendra have worked in a number of films together like Dost, Blackmail, Zalzala and Teesri Aankh. Their last film together was the 1989 release Shehzaade. As reported by the daily, Shatrughan couldn’t say no to the role even though it came at short notice. The actor said that this is a friendly appearance that he is doing in the film. Yamla Pagla Deewana-Phir Se also stars Kriti Kharbanda in the lead who plays the love interest of Bobby Deol.

Yamla Pagla Deewana-Phir Se is a rib-tickling comedy caper that features the Deols. Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby have managed to tickle our funny bones both individually as well as collectively. The first film in the installment was a surprise hit which propelled the makers to come out with two more sequels.

YPD3 is directed by Punjabi filmmaker Navaniat Singh who is making his Bollywood debut with this film. The trailer has already created quite a buzz among the audience as we see the Deols trying to speak Gujarati. Salman Khan also makes a cameo appearance in the film. He is seen in the trailer too and introduces himself as Mastana.
