Besides their love for acting, the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Soha Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput find one thing in common. These, along with few other, are perhaps the only ones who enjoy the coveted status of being stars who have completed their graduation and studied beyond the 12th grade. But Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter find themselves belonging the list of '12th pass' including Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone amongst other superstars.

The overnight sensations have eyeballs watching their every move, as they attract attention with every statement. Recently, in an interview with a senior journalist, Ishaan and Janhvi revealed that although they have both completed their schooling till 12th, they left academics to pursue a career in acting and live their dream.

Janhvi told the senior journalist, “I studied till the 12th, I actually studied in an IB school and then I never went to college so I am severely uneducated.” While Ishaan revealed, "Neither did I...I studied up till my 12th and I did my A-levels and then I was able to break-free of traditional academics and study what I wanted to.”

It is mention worthy that before entering Bollywood, Janhvi also took up a course in acting at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

Janhvi is the elder daughter of the iconic Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. Ishaan, on the other hand, is actor Shahid Kapoor's half-brother. It was during the shooting of Dhadak earlier this year when Janhvi lost her mother.
