Amitabh Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan have featured in a new Kalyan Jewellers ad. An emotional pitch, rural setting and a loving father-daughter bond -- the TVC has got a beautiful flavour.
It starts with an old man visiting a local bank with his daughter trying to show his passbook for pension purpose. He is wanting to return the extra pension he has got in his account. The bank throws its usual tantrum of making the customer go from one counter to another. At last, the man reaches the manager's cabin and asks him to do the needful. However, the manager laughs off the situation and advises the old man to keep the extra pension he has got by mistake as 'nobody is going to know about it anyway'. What the man says next is the highlight of the ad.

While Mr Bachchan has surprised us many times with his acting prowess, this was Shweta's acting debut and the one where she perfectly complimented her father.
On the work front, senior Bachchan has got his plate full with Thugs Of Hindostan, Brahmastra, Badla among other biggies. His last release, 102 Not Out went on to do good business at the Box Office.
