Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani quote Rs 5 crore remuneration for join endorsement deal?

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s last cinematic outing Baaghi 2, which released on March 30, went onto become one of the highest grossing films of 2018 and minted over Rs 160 crore at the box-office. The film was not only praised for the super-packed action sequences but also for the sizzling chemistry between Tiger and Disha.

Now as the rumoured couple is basking in the glory of their last release, the two have apparently hiked their endorsement fee. As per a report in a leading daily, a cooking oil brand has approached Tiger and Disha for a joint endorsement deal and the couple has quoted a whopping Rs 5 crore as the remuneration.

A source informed the daily, "The marketing team of a renowned oil brand wanted to position their product as the choice of fitness enthusiasts. Disha and Tiger seemed to be a perfect fit as brand ambassadors since the two are known to be health freaks. Considering they haven't featured in a commercial together, the team felt the ad would have the novelty factor. When the team approached them, the duo asked for Rs 5 crore as fee."

Apparently, the brand wants to cash in the couple's popularity among the youth and thus, has decided to cough up the amount. While the two are yet to sign on the dotted line, the report suggests that the conversation has reached an advanced stage already.

Interestingly, Tiger and Disha will not be the only couple to have endorsed brands together. Apart from Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, other star-couples like Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri and Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have also raked in moolah for their joint endorsements.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tiger will be seen in the Hindi remake of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo franchise apart from Sidharth Anand's next directorial — a Yash Raj film also starring Hrithik Roshan.
