I want Janhvi and Khushi to be absolutely okay as much as I would want Anshula to be fine: Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor is a perfect family man. The way the actor came to the support of his father Boney Kapoor and half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor when veteran actress Sridevi passed away earlier this year, is what maturity is all about. The Mubarakan actor acted as a pillar of strength for his family and sister Anshula Kapoor during a hard time that the family had to go through. Arjun ensured that he would be the shield to guard his family against the prying and interfering eyes of the paparazzi that followed after Sridevi’s untimely demise.

The sad events changed one thing and that was the relationship between Arjun-Anshula and Boney-Janhvi-Khushi. Arjun took to Instagram to wish Janhvi on the trailer launch of her debut film Dhadak and made everyone teary-eyed. Janhvi in her turn also wished her ‘bhaiya’ on his birthday with an emotional and heartfelt message. In a recent interview published in a leading daily when Arjun was asked about his message for Janhvi, he said that he and his sister Anshula felt that it was the right thing to do.

He also maintained that he consulted his maternal aunt before putting up the post as he would require her consent for a lot of things. When he was asked whether by being the elder brother such things give strength to Janhvi and Khushi, the actor said, “Maybe, when the time is right, and when I’m able to articulate my feelings better and give it some kind of shape, I’ll talk about it in detail. But right now, there are too many emotions to feel.”

He further said, “Also, as somebody who has always been extremely close to his father, I want Janhvi and Khushi to be absolutely okay as much as I would want Anshula to be fine. But the things that have led us to these circumstances are extremely tragic; that’s why I need some more time to figure out what life holds (for us).”

On the work front, Arjun will be seen in Namastey England opposite Parineeti Chopra. The two will also be seen in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar. Arjun has also signed Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat in which he shares screen space with Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt.
