Aditya Pancholi’s and Zarina Wahab’s son Sooraj Pancholi has finally started shooting for his second film after waiting for four years in the wings. Sooraj was launched by Salman Khan along with Athiya Shetty in the film Hero. His second film will be Time to Dance with debutante Isabelle Kaif who is the younger sister of Katrina Kaif.
Naturally, he is excited and relieved to face the camera once again and hoping for a better kickstart to his career this time around. Sooraj, who is named as the perpetrator in the Jiah Khan’s suicide has matured in the last few years and gave some truly remarkable and thought-provoking answers in an interview to a leading daily.
Jiah and Sooraj had been dating for a long time and just like any other, their relationship, too, suffered many ups and downs. However, rumours of unwanted pregnancy and domestic violence had been floating before Jiah finally ended her life. In her suicide note, Jiah Khan had alleged that they were in a tumultuous relationship that took a toll on her.

During the recent interview, Sooraj was asked whether he would be able to move on and find love again in life after having a court case against him. Sooraj replied in the affirmative saying, “Of course, I will. It has been five years. I mean, I was blamed for something that I feel was unfair. I was 21 then, I am 27 now. When I look at 21-year-old boys, I feel they’re all my younger brothers who don’t know what it is to be put behind bars at that age. Trust me; age has nothing to do with maturity, although at 21, a boy is considered an adult.”
Sooraj was asked his take on love and what it means to him, he replied, “It’s a feeling which I am very open to and I have experienced it again after Jiah passed away. I believe that if one relationship fails, it doesn’t imply that the next one doesn’t stand a chance. If I don’t think that way, I will be stuck for life in a time warp. Life has to go on. I was in a beautiful relationship recently which is in a confused state right now.”
