Actors Suhant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande made such an adorable pair. Their chemistry from their days of Pavitra Rishta made them one of the most loved couples in the glamour world. However, the two broke up in 2016 and decided to remain distant. Sushant got busy with his work commitments, doing films after films and also found new love in actress Kriti Sanon, or so does the grapevine says. Ankita, on the other hand, took little longer than Sushant to get back to work. It was last year itself when she confirmed to have bagged Manikarnika: The Queenof Jhansi, with Kangana Ranaut.
Now, in a tell all interview with a leading daily, the actress spoke about nursing her broken heart and how the entire phase helped her to be a better human being. She said, "When it comes to work, I am the same Ankita. I believe in hard work. So that’s not changed. And my love for cinema is something I was born with. But, personally, I am more in control of my emotions and because my focus is work, personal life is all about family and friends and my two dogs. I am in a good space and I just want to keep going forward".
When asked does she still believe in a relationship, the Archana of TV said, "I’m still waiting for my prince charming (laughs). But I’m not consciously looking for a man. I’m done with that! I don’t need a man to reach somewhere in life. I’d rather have awards. There are no marriage plans right now".
Ankita also maintained that she has no problems in keeping in touch with her ex. However, she has been very busy throughout and therefore, couldn't think about the same much.
