Pampering on sets and keto diet after ‘Bucket List’; Madhuri Dixit gets candid

Madhuri Dixit has won millions of hearts and still continues to do so. Her film Bucket List will mark her Marathi debut and is all set to release on May 25, 2018. She also is currently filming for two other films – Total Dhamal with Anil Kapoor and Karan Johar’s Kalank.

Amidst her busy schedule, she spoke to a leading daily about her upcoming film, Bucket List and mentioned that it wasn’t a conscious decision. She also added, “I loved the subject immediately. I read the synopsis and asked the makers to develop it further and narrate the script to me. They took around six to seven weeks following which I asked them for a few tweaks.”

Soon after the announcement of the film, Madhuri changed her Twitter name from Madhuri Dixit Nene to Madhuri Madhura Sane. She added, “Every woman goes through these things. She plays so many roles in her life that she forgets her individuality because of the responsibilities. In the film, one such incident changes everything and she finds herself again. And that changes the perception of the people around her It’s a self-awakening kind of a movie, but the story is told in a simple manner.”

Madhuri shot for the film over a few months and she sure had her share of fun on the sets. “It was a comfortable set-up. Everyone pampered me,” Her co-star and a veteran Marathi actress Vandana Gupte who will be seen portraying the character of Madhuri’s mother-in-law in the film has also spoiled Madhuri with her modak and Puran Poli treats. Madhuri said she had to go on a keto diet right after the filming.

Talking about real life bucket list and fulfilling it– as she does in the film – Madhuri said, “If it is something that I can manage to do, I will try my best. Aren’t we always completing our kids’ bucket lists “can we do this? “can we go there?”… the list is endless." All we know is that watching her on the big screen is something that will always be on our bucket list. The film also features Sumeet Raghavan and Renuka Shahane in prime roles. It is co-produced under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions.
