Alia Bhatt on Raazi success: It was very important as an actor that I had to be a little mad for this character

Meghna Gulzar's labour of love - Raazi - starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal has been making all the right noises at the ticket windows. The movie, co-produced by Junglee Pictures, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has emerged triumphant at the box office as occupancy and footfalls grew by manifolds, courtesy positive word of mouth.

Raazi collections took a massive jump over the weekend and the figure rounded off to Rs 45.34 crore by the end of Tuesday. Naturally, the spy thriller is a superhit and the stupendous performance called for a celebration. In a media interaction organised in Mumbai, team Raazi spoke their heart out about the film and it's outstanding performance. When Alia was proded about the success of Raazi, she replied saying, "It was very important as an actor that I had to be a little mad for this character."

Vicky, who recently celebrated his birthday, was dressed in formals.
