It took 3000 hours to make Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Cannes red carpet dress

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cast her sartorial spell at the Cannes 2018 red carpet. What could only be described as angelic, Aishwarya nailed her look right to every strand in the beautiful Michael Cinco dress.

The dress hugged the actress' curves in all the right places making her look no less than a Greek Goddess. And while she carried the 20 foot long train with much ease and elegance, designer Michael Cinco shared on Instagram that it took 3000 hours to design the masterpiece. He wrote, "This painstakingly breathtaking ULTRA VIOLET work of art is inspired by a butterfly...The 20-foot long fully embroidered cape with intricate full silk threadworks and Swarovski crystals all made by skilled hands took 3,000 hours to finish for SWAROVSKI Exhibition... There might have been a few hits and misses here and there, but her appearance is among the most awaited ones each year. With a spectacular first day, we can only hope for something even more extravagant on the second day of her visit.
