Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to Anand Ahuja was a gala affair with the pre-wedding festivities and the reception being one helluva party. The Bollywood celebrities painted the town red and let their hair down in a way that had to be seen to be believed. Internet is flooded with pictures and videos of Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Salman Khan dancing the night away. The ladies all looked breathtakingly beautiful and the men looked dashingly dapper.
Ranveer and Arjun were the life of the party as they tried to sing Masakali with gusto but could not make much of the tongue twister words in the lyrics; after all they aren’t Mohit Chauhan. Anil regaled everyone with his My Name is Lakhan act and even tried to play a dafli like in the original film. Shah Rukh and Salman had a Karan-Arjun moment with mother-of-the-bride Sunita Kapoor which was pure hilarious. The two superstars lit the stage on fire with their dance steps and SRK had soon opened the buttons of his bandhgala and Anil was dancing without his blazer and tie. Even Sonam changed into a kaftan at the wedding reception party to enjoy the revelry better.

The pictures from the venue are really heartwarming because a lot of co-stars from 90s came together for snaps and danced on their songs, Shilpa Shetty, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Rani Mukerji were all grooving to the beats. Nobody was left and everyone had a gala time at the party. The party was also a place for rumoured couples to make a kind of official statement about their relationship. Varun Dhawan came with his girlfriend Natasha Dalal and the next wedding bells could be theirs. Alia Bhatt also came with Ranbir Kapoor providing more fodder to the grapevine that the Brahmastra co-stars are dating in real life.
