Madhuri sets out to fulfill Sai's 'Bucket List'; strikes off a selfie with Ranbir Kapoor

Madhuri Dixit has expressed her wish to be associated in a Marathi language film for a long time now. The distant dream is finally finding its roots. Today, Madhuri released the trailer of her first Marathi venture titled Bucket List. The trailer looks interesting, amusing and emotional - all at once.

In the trailer, we see Madhuri as Madhura Sane, a regular Maharashtrian housewife whose world only revolves around her husband, daughter, son and her in-laws. Caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life, somewhere Madhura has lost her identity and herself. Content with the life she is living Madhura discovers that she needs to have a heart transplant.

Still going well and happy, Madhura finally comes across her donor - Sai. Sai is shown to be modern and outgoing and someone with multiple things pending to be checked off from her bucket list. Sai's mother, played by Renuka Shahane, tells Madhura about her unfulfilled life. And that... is where Madhura's real quest for life begins.

A regular Marathi housewife, Madhura, now feels that she is bound to step out and fulfil the dreams and tick the items off Sai's bucket list. Since that's what her heart had always wanted. Madhura goes above and beyond to live the dreams Sai dreamt of. She learns to drive a two-wheeler vehicle, goes out partying and drinking, tries going viral on the internet. In fact, one of her dreams was to click a selfie with Ranbir Kapoor which Madhura finds whimsical. Surprise! Surprise! Bucket lists aren't a funny deal after all. Just in time, Ranbir Kapoor steps in to fulfill this wish, too.

Madhura's teenage daughter tells her the meaning of bucket list. At a time when her family turns their back against her will to complete Sai's list, her daughter tells her that Bucket Lists aren't just dreams, they're the purpose of life.

This dreamy, family drama starring Madhuri Dixit, Renuka Shahne, Sumeet Raghavan, Vandana Gupte, Sumedh Sumedh Mudgalkar in the lead roles. The film is produced under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions and is slated to release on May 25, 2018.
