Yes, we are talking about Amitabh Bachchan! The megastar, who is scrupulous about wishing even his young colleagues on their birthdays, doesn’t take it kindly when his messages remain unacknowledged. In the past, he has rapped the knuckles of the likes of Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and others about their for ignoring his birthday missives. Now it was the turn of Anushka Sharma to face a polite but pointed dressing down!
Apparently, Bachchan Sr had sent across a personalised text message to the lady on her birthday yesterday. Blame it on her hectic schedule which included attending husband Virat’s RCB match, cheering for their winning team and topping it off with a viewing of the latest Avengers hit, the message went missing.

However, Bachchan was not about to let it pass unnoticed. He took to Twitter to reintroduce himself, adding that he had wished her on May 1 via SMS. Since there had been no response and he learnt that she had changed her number, he informed her that he had sent his greeting again. He also complimented her on looking radiant at the IPL game.

This time, there could be no oversight. A suitably chastened Anushka was quick to respond to Bachchan’s tweet, as she thanked him for remembering her birthday, besides adding that she was responding to his SMS as she tweeted her response to his message.
