Ranveer Singh, who is the first Indian ambassador for Switzerland Tourism just wrapped his holiday-cum-work trip in the Swiss Alps. Ranveer was in the picturesque country not only for pleasure but also for business as he inaugurated a train 'Ranveer On Tour' named after him. The train was inaugurated by the actor on April 30, 2018 and it is on the Golden Pass Line, branded with the pictures of the actor.
Ranveer is the first Indian ambassador for Switzerland Tourism and has been making efforts to pique the interest of Indian tourists in the foreign land. Since the time Ranveer has landed in the beautiful country, he has been sharing mesmerizing pictures of the country. Switzerland has been a favourite of Indian filmmakers over the years who have tried to capture its beauty in our Hindi movie songs.
The actor even clicked a photo in front of a statue of late Freddie Mercury posing like him in his trademark clothes.
But what gets the brownie points is Ranveer's tribute to the legendary icon - Charlie Chaplin. The actor visited Chaplin's World in Vevey, Switzerland which was home to Chaplin and his family.
Channelling his inner Charlie, Ranveer, dressed in the get up of the greatest comedian of his times, Singh greeted visitors to the museum. Adding more fun to it, the powerhouse actor also did his own take on the ‘little tramp’ in this Chaplin Avatar.
While at the museum, Ranveer also had a chance to meet with Eugene Chaplin, who is the comic legends son. RS also shared a video, which was captioned with the world of Charlie Chaplin himself – “A day without laughter is a day wasted.”
From dancing on the streets with the dancers, Ranveer certainly made Swiss people embrace his craziness to the hilt.
