The bomb is back: Pooja Bhatt glams up real nice!

We can’t help applaud the courageous Pooja Bhatt. Not only is she winning her battle with the bottle, she is truly putting her life in order in other areas as well. After being sober for many months now, the actress-director has lost the excess pounds and the results are awesome. She has done a photo shoot recently for which she was styled by her designer friend, Anna Singh.

However, do not expect Ms Bhatt to have morphed into a stick figure – she embraces her curves gladly. In fact, recently she had come out strongly against an ad issued by the government which apparently blamed weight issues in women on wrong eating alone. She tweeted, “Thin is not necessarily healthy or fit, and someone who has a larger frame or is supposedly overweight by the standards of the world, is not necessarily unhealthy. Real women have real bodies and must celebrate their bodies in whatever shape or size!”

Pooja has a lot on her plate figuratively now. There’s Sadak 2 and Jism 3 in the pipeline. Recently she sparked speculation when she refused to confirm whether she would be directing the Sadak sequel. “I can't say it's true neither can I say it's untrue. All I can say right now is that we roll in February, 2019, and it will be a start-to-finish schedule,” she declared.

Also in the offing is a web series in which she will essay the role of a cop. She is also penning her book on her experiences with alcoholism.

Pooja had seen considerable success as an actress with her films like Daddy, Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin, Zakhm and Sadak. She has also wielded the director’s baton for Paap in 2004, starring John Abraham and Udita Goswami, Holiday (2006), Dhokha (2007), Kajraare (2010) and Jism 2 (2012).

Her last appearance on the big screen was in 2001 in Everybody Says I’m Fine! Looks like she is finally ready to make that long awaited comeback!
