If your day has been a little tough with the mid-week blues then sit back and breathe. Because the latest song from Alia Bhatt’s Raazi is out and is here to steal our hearts. The song is titled Dilbaro. It is sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Vibha Saraf and Shankar Mahadevan. The wonderful melody of the song is set by the awesome trio – Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy. For the touching lyrics of Dilbaro, let’s doff off our hearts to the one and only Gulzar sahab!
In the song we see, Sehmat saying her goodbye to the family before she settles with her husband and the new family. The song perfectly depicts the unconditional love and bond of every father and daughter. Saying goodbye is always difficult, but a goodbye the takes away all hope of seeing someone again makes it a lot worse. Is that the pain Sehmat and her father face here? Maybe only time will tell.

Alia Bhatt managed to win hearts everywhere she steps. Her director Meghna Gulzar said, “Even before Bhavani Iyer (who wrote the screenplay with Meghna) and I had put a word on paper, I knew that a performance was needed to take Sehmat’s journey forward on screen. Also, the way I see her, she doesn’t suddenly turn into this indestructible superhero on a mission. There’s vulnerability inherent in her character which she retains till the end and I’ve noticed that no matter how hard-hitting the characters she plays, there is a certain softness to Alia, physically and emotionally, that I was looking for.”
The film is all set to hit the big screens on May 11, 2018, to keep us on the edge of our seats. Raazi features Vicky Kushal, Soni Razdan, Amrita Khanvilkar along with Alia Bhatt and Rajit Kapur.
