“One of the most enjoyable films in a long time”, Aamir is all praises for Rani’s 'Hichki'

Rani Mukerji has been on a roll with her comeback film Hichki and her best friend Aamir has vouched for it.

Hichki has hit the big screen today and it seems like the film is here to make a mark. The YRF team arranged a special screening for the superstar in Jodhpur. In a recent tweet, he said, “Just saw one of the most enjoyable films in a long time! Great story! Amazing performances! Superb film! Thoroughly enjoyed it! It's called HICHKI. Please don't miss it! Thank you, Rani, Siddharth, Neeraj Kabi, and the entire cast of young students, you were absolutely amazing! Love. a.”

In the film, Rani plays the character of a school teacher, Naina Mathur who suffers from a neurological condition called Tourette syndrome. The condition causes repetitive involuntary movements and vocalizations called tics. In the film, Naina faces multiple dismissals. Even though she faced twelve schools and 14 job rejections her spirit does not crumble. Her motto in the film is to help students, who apparently are left unnoticed by the system. She says, “There are no bad students. Only, bad teachers,”

In a unique fashion, Rani promoted her film by sharing videos of Bollywood celebrities speaking about their Hichkis or obstacles in life and how they overcame it. Amongst the many celebrities were Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Khan, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Ajay Devgn.
