Lookit: SRK-Katrina get inspired by Darr on the sets of Zero

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif have apparently hit it off fabulously over the course of filming Zero. The ever generous SRK has already dubbed Katrina as his media manager, for uploading the best pics of him on social media.

Now she is something of his art director as well. Recently on the sets, apparently at her bidding, Shah Rukh revisited a memorable moment from his film, Darr. The 1993 film had seen SRK play an obsessive lover who single-mindedly stalks Juhi Chawla and eventually meets a gory end. Shah Rukh’s chilling performance in this Yash Chopra had won him huge accolades. It is rated as one of his best despite coming early on in his career.

Now, he posed on the sets of Zero, with an ice cream in his hand in front of Katrina’s poster. The pose was similar to the one he had struck in Darr, where he had posed in a similar manner against Juhi Chawla’s poster. Sharing the image, SRK captioned it, “Cos she doesn’t eat ice cream in real, Cos she has worked so hard & cos this reminds me of Darr…on @aanandlrai #Zero the film…’I love u kkkKatrina…” That last bit was obviously a rework of his infamous line – ‘I love you kkkKiran’.

Incidentally, Katrina also shared a picture on Instagram, which shows her refusing to have the ice cream that Shah Rukh is offering her. The two also shared an image of themselves in a cosy clinch. Kat captioned it, “Ice cream ke baad.” Well, well…!

In Jan this year, Katrina had spoken glowingly about the experience of working with SRK. She had said, “Shah Rukh sir is one of the best actors in the industry. His drive, energy and passion are commendable. It's great to be around him on a set.”

While SRK plays a vertically challenged character in Zero, Katrina plays an actress who is reportedly an alcoholic. Kat will reportedly romance Abhay Deol in the film, which also stars Anushka Sharma. The film releases December 21.
