102 Not Out Teaser: Father-Son duo Amitabh-Rishi's unusual camaraderie is a sheer delight

The much-awaited teaser for 102 Not Out is out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. Contrary to expectations, it is not a story about two old friends or brothers being tested through time. In fact, the story is about a father-son duo and the unspoken love they share.

The teaser starts with a 102-year-old Amitabh, walking with a life-sized cut-out of a man along with him out on the streets. The next we see a 75-year-old Rishi who is pacing inside the house. But why!? Amitabh and Rishi, as the father and son respectively, share a wonderful chemistry. They laugh together, annoy each other and even silently care about one another. In one heartwarming scene, we see Amitabh putting his unwell son (Rishi) to rest on the couch, lays a blanket over him and caresses his forehead.

Towards the end of the teaser, we are introduced to the biggest irony, when Amitabh, being completely humourous says, 'I'll be the first 'Father' to send away my 'Son' to an old age home'.

It is already evident from the teaser that the film is going to be an explosion of emotions. From making us laugh out loud on their kiddish behaviour to making us cry out rivers at their pain and struggles, this movie will take a part of us and leave a part of it with us... for a long time.

And what else can one expect from the powerhouse performers Big B and Chintu ji. A brief glimpse into their performances and we know a cinematic delight is offered to the viewers by director Umesh Shukla (Oh My God fame). The film is based on playwright Saumya Joshi’s well-known Gujarati play by the same name and the unusual comedy releases on May 4, 2018.
