Beyond The Clouds Trailer: Ishaan's strong, rebellious and ambitious debut!

After the long wait, Majid Majidi's trailer for his Indian venture called Beyond The Clouds is finally out. This film will be releasing on March 23, 2018 in India. It has Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor's younger brother, and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles. Another highlight of this film is the Hindi dialogues written by none other than Vishal Bhardwaj who has given us hits like Haider and Omkara.

The trailer marks a different narrative than what was expected after looking at its first look. It starts at the same location as the first look; where Ishaan has his back towards us staring at the sea ahead. The narration then guides us through his life. Ishaan who has lost his parents in a car accident at a very young age is not a chap who grows up to be scared and scarred. Rather he is strong, rebellious and ambitious. He has no fears doing the wrong things as we see his deal with drugs without any hesitation. His love interest played by Malavika also seems to be his one-true-friend amongst his many companions. Malavika, playing Tara, is both caring and daring. She is ready to take risks for him without second thoughts.

The story takes a turn when things go wrong and he is caught up in some sort of racket where even Malavika ends up in the jail. Now, what fate do they have? Will they come back together? Will he succeed at winning her and a better life? Or does it go down the drain?

There is a lot here to watch out for. Also, another legendary name is associated with the movie; A.R Rehman has provided the music. This piece of art seems to have a lot in store, comedy, drama, action, plot twists.

This is Majidi's first film in India and it seems like there are more to come. During the event of its trailer launch, he mentioned how he has learned a lot from India and Satyajit Ray. He also seems to have much affection for the country. Well, all we have to say is - keep it coming!
