We are thanking our stars, Alia Bhatt is behaving most maturely when it comes to her ex, Sidharth Malhotra. The lovely lass had been winning compliments galore at her bestie Kripa Mehta’s wedding. She was an integral part of the three days of festivities in Rajasthan, held across different palace hotels.
Summer chic personified at the colourful Mehendi at the Indana Palace, Jodhpur, she grabbed eyeballs again the following evening at the Sangeet, in a powder-pink outfit by Koëcsh.

It was her performance at the Sangeet though that actually showed the stuff this girl is made of. Alia was all gung-ho on stage as well, performing with her girl gang to ‘Hawa Hawa…’ from Mubarakan as they beat the boys’ team hollow. But this was not the only song she shook a leg and jiggled her hip to… she also happily danced to “Nachde ne saare” from her ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra’s film, Baar Baar Dekho!
This might not seem like a big deal to a lay person, but having witnessed the tantrums that stars often throw when it comes to songs that have a connection with someone they have cut off ties from, we are impressed! For instance, didn’t Virat Kohli demand that the DJ shut off a song at his wedding party that featured in an Anushka Sharma-Ranveer Singh film?! Our girl Alia, however, went about her routine coolly and calmly, winning more brownie points for her attitude.

Back in November last year, PeepingMoon.com had brought you news of the two Bollywood darlings calling off their relationship. Despite being spotted at some Diwali parties and also at Shah Rukh Khan’s private birthday bash at his Alibaug beach home, it was already curtains for the couple. The two, however, stayed extremely civil with one another in social circles; while keeping their distance from each other whenever possible. Their break-up was a shock to fans and well-wishers, who hoped for a reconciliation. That does not appear to be on the cards anytime soon. However, it is good to see Alia carry on with life, with her trademark grace.
