Salim Khan confirms death threats to Salman Khan!

It’s almost like a dramatic scene from a film, the events that are currently playing out in the life of Salman Khan… In the midst of shooting a track with Jacqueline Fernandez for his upcoming Race 3, suddenly the unexpected happened… The police landed up on set and issued orders to shut down the shoot. Reason: the leading man’s life was apparently in danger! Producer Ramesh Taurani lost no time in following the advice. Salman was bundled off home immediately, escorted by six policemen, while his own car was driven back to his Bandra residence by another group of cops. The police took this action after armed men allegedly landed on the sets of Salman’s next, Race 3 at Film City, Mumbai and were heading towards him.

Confirming the news of threats, Salman’s father Salim Khan shared with a leading daily, “While I don’t know the exact details about when he left the sets, I do know that there were some threats. But Salman has a good team of security personnel. This is not the first time that he is getting such threats. In this industry, people keep getting such threats a lot.”

When the former actor and screenwriter was asked if they have planned to take legal action against the gangster, he replied, “The only action we are taking is to make sure that Salman is safe. He is going to the shoots normally right now.”

Salman has been issued death threats by a gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi is a notorious criminal who has been charged in more than 20 cases of attempted murder, extortion, car-jacking, snatching and under the Arms Act in Punjab-Haryana. On Thursday, January 4, Salman had appeared in the Jodhpur's Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Rural Court in connection with the hearing in the Blackbuck poaching case. While that seemed to pass off without incident, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who was produced in the court following his arrest on charges of terrorizing traders and extorting them, delivered an open death threat to the Tiger Zinda Hai star…

“Salman Khan will be killed here, in Jodhpur... Then he will come to know about our real identity… Now, if the police want me to do some major crime, I shall kill Salman Khan and that too in Jodhpur,” Bishnoi told mediapersons as he was taken to a Jodhpur court amidst police security. Regarding the charges against him, he claimed he been framed in false cases and that not even a single witness had deposed in the court to prove the charges.

This death threat is being linked to the Blackbuck killing case of 1998, in which Salman and his co-actors are accused. The Bishnoi community, which has protected the living species found around them for over five centuries, has been fighting for justice ever since.
Even as some claim that the gangster's threat to Salman was merely a way to grab attention, the police are not taking any chances.

Besides instructing the star to keep a low profile, he has been told not to ride a bicycle on the roads as he regularly does. He has been cautioned to stay extra safe, even as they provide him maximum protection till the threat passes.
