The new Mrs. Virat Kohli aka Anushka Sharma is best to the arclights, as she resumed shooting for the Aanand L Rai film, Zero. The glowing newlywed shared a lovely photo of herself on Instagram, which she captioned, “They say – Back to one! In this case I’ll say – Back to Zero!! Happy to be back on the film and back to work with my lovely co-actors and crew!! Thank you for the beautifully decorated floral van.”
Yes, evidently the team had made her return extra special, welcoming her with a white vanity decorated with beautiful blossoms.
She has returned from South Africa, where husband Virat leads the Indian team in the series. The couple had left for Cape Town soon after their wedding reception in Mumbai, which was attended by the crème de la crème of the film as well as the cricketing world. Their earlier reception, hosted in Delhi, had been attended by PM Narendra Modi.
After a snow-bound honeymoon in Finland which followed their secret Italian wedding, the pair had rung in the New Year together in South Africa. Anushka was also present to cheer for India on the first day of the Test match against South Africa, which started on January 5. However, the poor performance of Virat which saw him get out cheaply on an individual score of five runs, saw her become the target of trolls on Twitter yet again.

Social media was also abuzz with glimpses of the couple in Cape Town. While the couple shared photos themselves, wishing their fans on New Year, the two were also seen with Virat’s teammates. Virat had also shared another selfie with Anushka, writing, “Cape Town is such a beautiful place and even more beautiful with my one and only!”
Now it’s back to work for the two, as Anushka concentrates on her home production Pari, set to release on February 9, Zero and her next, YRF’s Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan. And we can’t help feel for the newlyweds who must miss each other terribly!
