Salman invites Akshay to private screening of Tiger Zinda Hai

For all those who have been endlessly speculating that things are not well between Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, PeepingMoon.com has news. The two superstars are at this moment watching Tiger Zinda Hai at the Yash Raj Films’ preview theatre in Andheri West. According to our source, Salman called Akshay this evening and invited him to watch this private screening with him. Akshay, who is a movie buff and catches every new release at the PVR in Juhu, was delighted to accept Salman’s invitation. He may have missed Tiger Zinda Hai otherwise because he leaves for South Africa tomorrow along with wife Twinkle, children Aarav and Nitara on an annual two-week vacation.

Ever since Salman backed out of Kesari, the big budget film he announced with Akshay and Karan Johar exactly a year ago, there has been gossip in the media that relations between these two big actors of Bollywood are strained. Rumours went so far as to suggest that at the International Film Festival of India that was held in Goa last month, Salman ignored Akshay who specially flew down on the last day to present Amitabh Bachchan with the Indian Personality of The Year Award. Some media more speculative than the rest even said that Katrina Kaif, who is Salman’s co-star in Tiger Zinda Hai and a close friend of Akshay’s, tried to bring the two actors together but failed in her “peace-making” attempt.

However, PeepingMoon.com had confirmed information that in Goa the two actors not only met behind the scenes but warmly hugged and wished each other well. Now all those ugly rumours are laid to rest with this sudden and private meeting of Akshay and Salman at YRF where the studio is privately screening Tiger Zinda Hai for privileged guests and members of the fraternity. Tomorrow, the gossip mills will churn and wonder what happens next? Will Kesari be made between Salman, Akshay, and Karan? PeepingMoon.com thinks better than this, Akshay will return Salman’s warm gesture by inviting the actor to a special screening of his January 26 release Padman when he returns from South Africa. The holiday season could not have got off to a more cheery note!
