After bringing the crown home, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar today interacted with the press in a conference at St. Regis, Mumbai.
Highlights of the event:
BOLLYWOOD
- All the actors are very beautiful & talented but I would like to work with Aamir Khan. I think he has really challenging roles to give & his movies give a message & connect with the society. My personal favorite actress is Priyanka Chopra.
- I have four continents to go to this year. For now, Bollywood is not on my mind.
- During my first week at the Miss World's pageant, all (co-contestants) thought I was a Bollywood actress.
- On Deepika Padukone receiving death threats for Padmavati: "We are persecuted sometimes, but we women need to show how confident we are."

- Manushi performed on Deepika's 'Nagade Sang' at the Miss World 2017 stage. The contestants are supposed to perform the traditional songs from their respective country.

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE PROJECT
- When I started this project, I realized that there is less awareness about menstrual hygiene and availability of sanitary napkins.
- I'm very excited about my year. We'll be spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene across four continents.
BETI Bachao, BETI Padhao
- I would like to contribute to #BetiBachaoBetiPadhao. I am here to give whatever services I can.
- I am very grateful to the govt of Haryana for all the privileges they are offering to me & one of them is of a position that I can take at a govt office & I would really like to contribute to the #BetiBachaoBetiPadhao Aandolan.
