Being a close friend of Kareena’s, he would take Yash and Roohi along for her son’s party and finally show them off to the world.
“Kareena and I have decided, it's Taimur's birthday party… where Yash and Roohi will make their debut appearance. Watch out Instagram! Because these three cuties are going to break the internet. I can't wait for that photograph,” he had gushed.

Turns out his protegee Alia Bhatt couldn’t wait either! The thrilled actress, who is extremely close to Karan, couldn’t resist sharing a picture of the Johar twins - and they are absolutely adorable! Caught up in the excitement of Diwali, it is a very special moment as Yash and Roohi sit with grandma Hiroo Johar, surrounded by a close circle of friends, including Ayan Mukerji and Alia herself. The babies, dressed in traditional wear, are seen interacting with the happy, doting faces around them.

It has been an emotional time for Karan and his three ‘students’, as they completed five years since Student of the Year released. The bonds between them are still solid, and Alia, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan had also congregated together at their mentor’s residence to spread Diwali warmth. Naturally, Karan’s little tots had to be part of all the cheer and were the centre of all attention.
The twins, who were born via surrogacy, have fulfilled Karan’s long-held wish of becoming a parent. In his autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy, which was out earlier, he had revealed, “I don’t know what I’m going to do about it but I feel like I would like to be a parent. I don’t know how it’s going to happen but I do feel the need because I have plenty of love to offer and I’d like to take it forward.”
Now he has that chance and the love is expectedly flowing!
