Bollywood is curious to know who’s going to be Aayush Sharma’s leading lady in his debut film. There’s a lot of intrigues around the entry of Arpita Khan Sharma’s husband in Bollywood. That Salman Khan would launch his brother-in-law under his production house Salman Khan Films was a given. The Bhaijaan said as much in a tweet in which he wished Aayush, “Congrats @aaysharma. Now is the time for a lot of mehnat aur lagan. Wish you all success God Bless #AayushSharma.”

But while the industry imagined Salman would launch Aayush in a love story, Peeping Moon.com has learned that Salman is keener on the official Hindi remake of the 2012 Punjabi hit Jatt & Juliet that starred Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa. If this news is true, then while the ‘Jatt’ will undoubtedly be Aayush, Bollywood is wondering who’s going to be ‘Juliet’.
Buzz is that while Salman’s scouts are on the lookout for a new face to play this role, there is more of a possibility of Sonakshi Sinha becoming Juliet. Sonakshi made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with Salman in Dabangg and ever since the actress has been close to the Khandaan of Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. So it comes as no surprise that she is being considered for Aayush’s debut film by Salman. Jatt and Juliet will be made by Abhiraj Minawala who is assisting Ali Abbas Zafar on Tiger Zinda Hai.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi has Ittefaq coming out next month and is busy with Golmaal in New York. If she is selected as Juliet and signs Salman’s film, then Sonakshi will have two releases next year. But here’s the catch. Pepping Moon.com has also learned that Sonakshi may have to lose weight if she is to play Juliet. It is the role for a leaner actress and Sonakshi does tend to be on the heavy side.
As a fashion designing student before her debut, Sonakshi weighed an astonishing 90 kg. But doggedly, she brought her weight down to a healthy 60 kg for Dabangg. Now she might just well have to tone herself further if she does Jatt and Juliet. It is to be seen if with the Aayush-Sonakshi jodi Salman is able to successfully make his kid sister's husband a star.
