Money Matters With SRK

Salman Khan is charging a bomb for Bigg Boss 11, reportedly Rs. 11crore crore per episode. In the reality show space, this might be the highest remuneration received by an actor-host. However, last evening during the launch of his upcoming show - TED Talks Nayi Soch, host Shah Rukh Khan claimed that he has not be paid like the other actors for this show.

"(Money) never did and it never will. I'm well to do and God has been kind to me in every aspect of my life - professionally, economically and financially and more than that emotionally I have never ever done anything for the love of money. I say this from the point of view of a lower-middle-class boy, who has had much more than he had imagined or dreamt of in the wildest of dreams. People may think I am an entrepreneur, but I have never done anything for the liking or love of money. I do things because I love doing them," shared SRK and added, "I did TED Talks is perhaps the closest things to my heart and I hope people also love it as much as I do. It is important for me that this gets loved by everyone." Ironically, the actor is one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood with earnings of $38 million in 2017 as per Forbes magazine.

SRK's story to success has been an envious one. From the streets of Delhi to being a superstar in Bollywood, the actor boasts a career spanning nearly three decades. Khan has a crazy fan following among youngsters, who inspire to be like him. And SRK has an advice for these young ones. "I would say this to every youngster that if you desire to do something one of the things that we surely follow is money but (I think) it is the least important gaps that we try to fill in when we try to do something as work, job or love, and hobby."

Shah Rukh Khan will appear on small screen after six long years with Star Plus TV TED Talks: India. So far SRK has hosted many shows on Indian Television from Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3 (2007) to Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai (2008).
