Troubles for Gehana Vasisth don't seem to end. The actress who starred in web shows like ALT Balaji's Gandii Baat was arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police for allegedly shooting and uploading pornographic videos earlier this month. Now, according to the latest report, she has been charged with gangrape and wrongful confinement.
According to the report, a 24-year-old model claimed that she was forced to engage in sexual acts with three men during a video shoot. The police have reportedly booked Gehana and three other men for rape, outraging the modesty of women and obscene acts under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, Gehana's lawyers have denied the allegations saying that she only shot erotic videos.
Reportedly, Gehana has shot 87 pornography videos, which she uploaded on her website and are available for viewers at a subscription fee of Rs 2000. A raid was conducted at a bungalow in Madh Island where a film was being shot with the help of mobile phone cameras. Several people were arrested by the Property Cell of the Crime Branch.
Miss Asia Bikini winner Gehana, whose original name is Vandana Tiwari, made headlines in 2019 after she collapsed on the set of her web-series in Madh island. She was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a near-fatal cardiac arrest.
