After intesifying its probe into the Bollywood drugs case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) widened its investigation in the television industry as well. On Wednesday, NCB grilled TV couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar in drug probe.
According to PeepingMoon sources, the couple was quizzed for a few hours yesterday. Now, latest reports suggest that the NCB has conducted raid at Abigail's and Sanam's residence in Juhu. NCB sources found 'charas' (weed, a type of drug) from their flat.
Not only this but Abigail has also revealed the names of 9 TV actors before the NCB who are involved in drug consumption. After carrying out searches at the couple’s residence, the agency officials have now conducted raids at multiple locations in Mumbai. Presently, raids are underway at several TV star in Mumbai.
After the raid, the couple has been summoned again. This comes after their connection with drug peddler Anuj Keshvani emerged. The agency has reportedly summoned at least five television stars for interrogation in the drug case. As per sources, these five actors were named by drug peddler Anuj Keshvani during the investigation.
