Popular television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays ‘Gopi Bahu’ in Saath Nibhana Sathiya is under interrogation by Mumbai Police with regards to Rajeshwar Udani’s murder case. Udani was a diamond merchant and a BJP activist who did not return home a few days back. After a missing complaint was filed in his case the police started investigating and found that the day he went missing he had spoken to the actress and had come to meet her as well. The police also found it fishy that Devoleena left Mumbai as soon as Udani went missing.
According to sources, during the interrogation, Devoleena revealed quite a few key points that will help the police in the investigation. Apparently, the diamond merchant was pressurizing the actress for something for the past 7-8 months which had caused Devoleena a lot of stress. She had apparently, discussed all this with her live-in partner Sachin Pawar after which the latter had an altercation with Udani.

Reportedly, when Devoleena’s serial got over she did not have any work for quite a few months and during this time she met Udani through a mutual friend called Dolly. Apparently, Devoleena and Udani spent quite a lot of times and during this time he came to know a lot about the actress which she was afraid of getting revealed in the media. When Udani started building pressure on her she came in contact with Sachin through someone and the two clicked and started living together.

Now, the police are trying to find out what was the matter due to which Udani was building pressure on Devoleena and harassing her and is she the same girl who was seen with him in the car on the day he went missing.
