Rohit Bal strikes again! The couture designer makes a comeback at the Lakme Fashion Week and we're stunned at how mesmerizing his current collection, The Kashmir Collection, was!

In collaboration with Usha Silai's Label and School of Design, the couture designer showcased his current line 'Guldastah', as an ode to the flowers in the valley.  Motifs, prints, embroidery and purely handcrafted ensembles were showcased at the runway.

Setting a very yesteryear ambiance with the retro songs with a Kashmiri feel, the music, setting and ensembles seemed in sync with the theme and emotions the designer and the artisans were trying to portray. Out of awe, respect and pure love for art, the audience gave the designer and the Kashmiri artisans a much-deserved standing ovation...so perfect!

All in all, it was a very surreal experience to have witnessed such an ethereal show and we're eternally grateful for the golden chance.
