Dolce & Gabbana: Not models but drones carried handbags down the runway

With technology taking the world by a storm, we knew this day wasn't too far. The Italian giant label Dolce & Gabbana replaced their millennial models for drones. Yes, being human is no longer in trend, or as some might say, so last season.

While all the models were sitting front row, at this show, D&G flew down a series of their handbags from their 2018 collection. And by flew, we seriously mean flew. Several box-shaped leather Dolce & Gabbana fall handbags hanging on drones floated past the audience. Quite unlike a normal fashion show, everyone was reportedly asked to turn off the Wi-Fi on their phones, which also included their personal hotspots.

Thanks to Dolce and Gabbana's technologically-savvy new models, our millennial youths had a break from strutting down the runway.

From severed heads to dragons, to puppies and now drones, we wonder what we're going to see next! We're loving every unexpected twist on this high-fashion runway.
