Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta who is well-known for playing the role of Babita Ji in the serial recently flew to Europe for a trip. However, she has now revealed that she had to cut her trip short and fly back home as she met with a small accident in Germany and hurt her left knee badly. Munmun took to her Instagram stories today to share her health update and informed her fans that she is now coming back to India.
On her Instagram Story, Munmun wrote, “Had a small accident in Germany. Hurt my left knee very bad. Thus have to cut my trip short and fly back home.” In another Instagram story, Munmun shared a picture of her injury.
Only yesterday, Munmun had travelled from Switzerland to Germany via train and took to Instagram stories to share a glimpse of her journey. Prior to this she shared a series of pictures from Switzerland in which she can be seen enjoying drinking hot chocolate and wrote, “much is too much hot Chocolate? Well it doesn’t matter I guess kyunki ‘Bade bade desho mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hai’,” alluding to the hit dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
Munmun is a household name and has been a part of TMKOC ever since the beginning. However, last year reports of the actress quitting the show started surfacing when Munmun remained absent from th episodes when the cast shifted to Daman due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, she later clarified that she is not quitting the show but was not seen onscreen as the plot did not require her presence.
