It has been earlier reported that Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi would be leaving Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and apparently today, October 8 is the last day of their shoot. Their Sirat and Kartik’s Jodi is one of the most adored couples on TV but now they will give way to another. Now, Pranali Rathod has confirmed that she has been approached to play the lead in the show. Harshad Chopda has also reportedly been confirmed to play the lead along with Pranali.
In an interview with an online portal, Pranali said, “Yes I have been approached for the show but nothing is confirmed yet.” It is being said that she might play the role of Akshara or Aarohi in the show. It was reported earlier that Namik Paul was considered to play Kairav but as per reports published in a media portal, Harshad has been roped in to play the role.
It has been confirmed that the show will undergo a leap and will focus on Naira, Kartik and Sirat’s children with new story unfolding with grown-up Akshara, Kairav and Aarohi.
