Yeh kaunsa style hai sad feel karne ka?: Netizens slam Sidharth Shukla for his 'sorry' post on Afghanistan crisis

On Sunday, after 20 years, the Taliban took control of Afghanistan after President Ashraf Ghani and his top ministers stepped down from their posts and fled the country. The capital city of Kabul has fallen into the Taliban's hands and various countries, including India, are working towards evacuating their citizens and embassy staff safely. Videos and pictures of the grim situation went viral and citizens across the world are praying for the people of Afghanistan. 

Several Bollywood and television celebrities expressed their solidarity with the nation and its people on social media. Sidharth Shukla also prayed for Afghanistan and asked does humanity still exist. Along with a note, he shared a picture of himself. He wrote, "Feeling sorry for the state Afganistan is in….Does humanity still exist…!!!!" This triggered many netizens. They went on to slam Sidharth for expressing grief with a picture of himself.

One user wrote, "Isn’t he is making fun of afghani people by posting this picture ? He has gone mad...." Another user said, "Now why would you post a picture of yourself while talking about a serious issue? Are you actually that dumb??" A user commented, "Yes. Perfect opportunity to post a picture of yourself in the name of caring of them. Stop it. Get some help."

Celebrities like Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Sayani Gupta, Luv Sinha, Kangana Ranaut, Rhea Chakraborty, Swara Bhasker, Armaan Malik, Shekhar Kapur, Soni Razdan, Kabir Khan, Tisca Chopra, Huma Qureshi, Bhumi Pednekar, Anurag Kashyap and several others expressed dismay over the crisis.
