Indian Idol 12: Anuradha Paudwal reveals the interesting story behind 'ouch' in Madhuri Dixit's Dhak Dhak song

The stage of Indian Idol 12 will be graced by renowned singers Anuradha Paudwal, Kumar Sanu and Roop Kumar Rathod this weekend. With the singers marking their presence, the audience should brace themselves for fun and love-filled episodes that will transport us to the '90s and early 2000s. In a promo released by Sony TV on their Instagram account, contestants Ashish Kulkarni and Sayli Kamble are seen performing a duet on the song Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from the film Beta

The song picturised on Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor became a chartbuster and continues to be a favourite. After the performance, Anuradha, who became Madhuri's voice for the song, revealed an anecdote regarding the usage of 'ouch' in the beginning. The veteran singer said that she was getting late to leave for Kolkata. Due to the song recording, she was getting later. Director Indra Kumar wanted Anuradha to add a seductive word to the song. That's when she decided to just say, "Ouch".

The singer said, "I didn't even think in my dreams that this Ouch would become a trademark." She further thanked Madhuri for making it a number 1 song by adding her grace and beauty to it.
