After much wait, Hina Khan and Tanmay Ssingh's music video Patthar Wargi released on social media today. It was scheduled to release on May 14 but got pushed ahead. The music of Patthar Wargi is by B Praak, lyrics are penned by Jaani and the song is sung by Ranvir. The music video is directed by Kamal Chandra.
Patthar Wargi is about Hina and Tanmay who are celebrating their engagement with their friends at a villa without the consent of the latter's father, a dangerous and influential figure. However, Hina and Tanmay are made to separate from each other. Tanmay's father asks him to let go of Hina if he wants to see her safe. Patthar Wargi is all about how Tanmay tries to stay away from Hina while she is unable to nurse her heartbreak. The video ends with a slate that states, "Respect your love before it’s too late."
Patthar Wargi's Eid release got pushed forward due to a technical error. The makers, in a statement, said, "Due to an unforeseen technical error, the release of the music video ‘Patthar Wargi’ is delayed. We apologise for the delay and appreciate the patience shown by each one of you."
