Viraf Patell to marry Saloni Khanna in court tomorrow, calls it 'celebration of two cultures'

It is wedding season in India and television stars are making the most of it. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrities are tying the knot keeping all protocols in minds. Now, wedding bells are set to ring for Viraf Patell and his ladylove Saloni Khanna. The actors will be having a court marriage tomorrow that is May 7.

Confirming the same, Viraf told a leading daily, "Yes it’s true, Saloni and I are finally tying the knot tomorrow in Bandra court. Given the times we are living in right now, we are opting for a simple ceremony and following all safety precautions."

Calling it a celebration of two cultures, Viraf added, "It is going to be a very special day for both of us. The ceremony might be simple, but is going to be a memorable day for both us and our family. I want everyone to wish us good luck and continue to shower their love and blessing. I am a Parsi and Saloni is Punjabi, so it’s like celebrating these two cultures, too."

Due to the pandemic, the wedding will be a low-key ceremony. "In these uncertain times, we hope to bring in some certainty for ourselves by tying the knot. The wedding may be low-key, but we hope to make our marriage meaningful and worthy," Viraf shared.
